Born in Scranton, son of the late attorney Richard J. and Mary Mullaney Jordan, he was a 1977 graduate of Scranton Prep. He moved to Texas in 1985 and worked as a sales representative for several companies in Dallas. Most recently, he had worked for 14 years as a store manager for Calloway's Nursery. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, all of Dallas.
He had an infectious laugh, an easygoing manner and a tremendous sense of humor. He spent his free time with the people he loved the most…his family. Gardening, reading, watching sports and caring for his dog, Louie, were things he also enjoyed. He was a lifelong fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Dallas Cowboys.
