Born in Quanah Texas to Elisa Marie Billings Goodnight and William Oran Goodnight on November 28, 1921. She was the 4th of five children and was raised and Graduated school in Quanah. She moved to Dallas in the 40’s and took some classes at SMU and worked for Neiman Marcus. She met and married Gene Jameson and had three sons Kenneth, Douglas and Robert. She was a wonderful mother who stayed home to take care of the boys, but when needed took a job in the kitchen at school to help them thru a transition time at school and went out her way to get them out of jams they got themselves into. She was born and raised in the Methodist Church and her heart was always there too. She was a member of Casa Linda United Methodist Church. She was active in Sunday school, choir and the women’s society she would go to west Dallas to the Wesley-Rankin Community Center to sew and work with the women there. She was a seamstress that loved to make items for family and friends and especially her granddaughter Annalise. She was the last of her brothers and sisters Frank Goodnight, Lena Louise Goodnight, Raymond Goodnight, Mary Lorene Schoolcraft. She is survived by her three sons Kenneth and his wife JD, Doug and His Wife Beverly and Robert Jameson, 4 grandchildren Annalise Jameson, Benjamin Haynes, Katerina Haynes and Nathan Haynes, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and was well loved by those that came to know her.
