Diane V Madrid

Our beloved Diane V. Madrid left the world on April 7, 2023 at the age of 67. She will be missed deeply and will always hold a place in our hearts. Born November 23, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas to Enrique Rocha and Florinda Lopez.

Diane in her early years worked as a teacher’s aid at L. O. Donald Elementary School, and was an office worker at Taylor Publishing. She was an avid reader. She also notably worked at Raytheon E-Systems from 1985 - 1991. She left Raytheon to join her husband and became co-owner of Madrid Tax Insurance and Madrid Tax Inc till 2023. Her efficiency was a driving force to her companies success. She developed long relationships with her clientele.

In her spare time she enjoyed bonding, and creating memories with her family. Diane loved to travel and was able to share those memories with who she loved the most. As the Matriarch of her family and friends, Diane will always be remembered for being a loving, honest, and a supportive wife, mother, and grandmother. The love she had for God would be the empowering factor in her spirit. She helped her family to know and respect the goodness of God’s grace.

She was preceded in her death by her beloved daughter, Angie Madrid. She is survived by her husband, Greg Madrid Jr., her children, Isaac Madrid and his wife Rosie Madrid, Benjamin Madrid and his wife Patricia Madrid.

Her grandchildren are Joshua Madrid, Mathew Madrid, and his wife Ashley Madrid, Julianna Tavera, Cristian Tavera, Caleb Madrid, Emma Madrid, Anabella Madrid, Jacob Madrid. She will be missed immensely, and forever be honored and cherished.

A visitation for Diane will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. An interment will occur Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
