Diane Katherine Gutiérrez (nee Loosmore), age 58, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 14, 2022, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, on October 8, 1963, and she attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and later, Saint Louis University, where she received a business degree in Accounting.
Beloved wife of José M. Gutiérrez for 34 years; loving daughter of Doris Loosmore; dedicated mother of María Elena (Thomas) Gutiérrez and Charles (Alexa) Gutiérrez; cherished grandmother of María Lucía Sheeren; adored sister of Jeffrey (Jane) Loosmore. Preceded in death by her father, Robert Loosmore.
Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas, on Monday, May 9, at 10 in the morning. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Thompson Foundation for Autism or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network are appreciated.
