Dennis Passed away on Monday, January 09, 2023, at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dennis was born Tuesday May 09, 1950 in Neosho, Missouri, the son of Denzil ”Hap” and Mary Lou (Clark) Wood. He married Loretta Wood at the AMVETS POST 22 in Dallas, Texas on Saturday July 31, 2010.
He enjoyed being in his garden, building things and loved to go camping and fishing. He also loved his family time and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his Wife; Loretta Wood of Dallas, Texas, Son Shane Wood of Dallas, TX and stepdaughter Melissa Miller of Dallas, TX; Sons: Dennis (Kari) Wood of Waxahachie, TX and Deanon Wood of Fort Worth, TX. Daughter; Deanna (Johnny) Wood of Fort Worth, TX.; Sisters: Janis (Tom) Gow of Greer, SC, Deb (Norm) Dvorak of Davenport, IA; Brothers: Ron (Jan) Wood of Prosperity, SC, Terry (George Parze) Wood of Cape Coral, FL, nine grandchildren; Matthew, Blake, Hannah, Miracle, Ayden, Hunter, Lauren, Marcus and Zoe-Jane
He preceded in death by his Parents, Brother Randy Wood; Son Joseph Wood; Granddaughter Megan Cardoso-Wood and first wife Patricia Wood
