Delton Dean Davis

Born on November 28, 1933 in Rockett, TX to the late Nora Cunningham and John Davis, he graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1953. He served our country in the U.S. Army. Delton married Joyce Ann Bailey in 1954 and the couple had two daughters. An Insurance Agent for many years, he then successfully operated his own vending business in Houston, TX. In 1981, he married Doris Ellen Ebner. Together until her passing in 2012, they enjoyed many years of love and companionship, working, traveling to visit family and friends, and eventually retiring to Lancaster, TX in 1999.

A proud Texan, he sought to be stern but fair, and generous towards those in need. In retirement he put great effort in maintaining close ties with extended family and relatives. His family and friends will always remember him for his personality, his chewing cigars and his green golf cart.

He is survived by daughters Cathy Westoff and Lori Pino, stepsons Barry Ebner and Douglas Ebner, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife Doris.
