Delia was raised in Wichita Falls, TX. and attended/graduated from Hirschi High School in 1974 / Midwestern State University in 1979. She was Retired from Neiman Marcus where she worked for several years.
Her family will remember Delia as being the only girl and baby sister in the family with a home full of older brothers who loved and adored her. She loved nature and loved all animals. She was a woman of strong convictions, intelligence, sophistication and beauty inside and out. She was a very influential Aunt to her numerous Nieces whom she served as a role model and influencer in all their lives. She always encouraged all of her nieces to have a voice for themselves. Family and friends will remember Delia as having a beautiful smile, spirit and sense of humor. She was never too busy to talk and listen and made everyone in her presence feel special and wanted. She taught us all to think outside the box, put others first and challenged us to not be afraid to be bold in life. She was caring person to all with a beautiful gypsy soul.
Delia is preceded in death by: Father Polo J. Castillo and Mother Consuelo G. Castillo. Niece, Patricia Castillo, Nephew, Ernest (Neto) Castillo Jr., and Sister in Law, Yvonne Castillo, as well as her Paternal Grandparents, Manuel and Piedad J. Castillo and her Maternal Grandparents, Sofia G. and Guadalupe Galvan. In addition, to her beloved dog, Ace.
Delia is survived by: her Brothers, Freddie Castillo and Wife Frances, Ernesto Castillo, Polo Castillo Jr., Ricardo Castillo and Wife Luz. In addition to her Nieces and Nephews, Frankie, Cindy, Eric, Alma, Consuelo (Conchi) Maria, Yvette, Criselda, Consuelo, Celina, Rene as well as Great Nieces and Nephews. In addition to her beloved former Husband Karl Pacheco who remained her life-long friend and confident. In addition to numerous and beloved friends.
