Debbie Marie Kostecki Foldi

Debbie Foldi, age 52, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 31st at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bill Foldi, and by her two children, Heather and William Foldi of Plano. Also surviving are her mother, Martha Kostecki of Southgate, Michigan, her sisters Patricia (Craig) Squire of Canton Township, Michigan, and Barbara Miller of Newport, Michigan and her two brothers Raymond Kostecki of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Robert Kostecki of Riverview, Michigan. She is the daughter-in-law of Barbara Foldi of Trenton, Michigan, sister-in-law of Gary (Donna) Foldi of Hurst, Texas, and sister-in-law of Karen Hale of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Debbie was born on September 2, 1957 in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was the last of five children born to Joseph and Martha Kostecki. In August of 1977, she married Bill Foldi in Southgate, Michigan. The couple moved to Plano, Texas in the summer of 1982 where they began their service to their community as business owners. For the past 16 years, Debbie was a teacher’s aid in the Plano Independent School District.

During her 28 years in Plano, Debbie was involved in various school and church activities. She and Bill were very active in the lives of their two children. They were members of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday evening September 3rd from 4 to 9 PM at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated the following day, September 4th at 11 AM at St. Marks Catholic Church in Plano. Cremation will follow. The family suggests memorials may be made to the SPCA or the charity of your choice.
