

Dave was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 31, 1952. He graduated from Plano High School, and continued on at Richland College until leaving for the workforce.
As a home builder since 1974, Dave R. Williams Homes led development north from Plano to Prosper, Texas. He actively supported the Hendrick Scholarship Foundation, serving on the board as both member and President. He served as the president of the Home Builder’s Association, and among his many honors included an award from D Magazine as best builder of 2016.
As a quiet, steady advocate for the community, his support of Cornerstone Assistance Network of North Texas, the Cory Ausenbaugh Memorial Scholarship efforts, the Prosper Ladies Association, the Rotary Club of Prosper, and other local organizations, expanded the well-being of all who call this area home.
A 33-year marriage to Leanne Sena Griffin began on October 15, 1983, a marriage that enjoyed the companionship of children Jessica (Billy K Hurst), Sena, and Griffin, grandchildren Cash and Sutton, brother Dan (Lynn Perry), mother-in-law Claudine Griffin, brothers-in law J. (Laurie) and Mark (Elaine) Sena, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom survive him. His parents Richard and Coiene precede him in death.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2pm at Lighthouse Fellowship Church, 4331 Prosper Trail, Prosper, TX 75078.
