David was raised in Dallas, TX. In his spare time, David enjoyed volunteering and helping others in need. His family and friends will always remember him as an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. During the holidays he would bring a truckload of goodies to the family gatherings.
David is preceded in death by his Father, Johnny Melgoza, brother, John Melgoza and "Pop” Manuel Contreras. He is survived by his Mother Innocencia Melgoza. His siblings: Iris Valkenaar (Kreigh); Melanie Flores (Louis); Michael Melgoza (Rebecca); Marty Melgoza (Maria); and Terri Contreras. Also survived by: Robert and Rachel Flores and family; Ricky Looney and Lacy Hill; Christina Flores and family; Kim Melgoza; Gabriela Melgoza; Jason Branum; Jonathan Dalby; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him.
