While we drifted apart over the years it was with great sadness that I received the news of Uncle David's death. I have such fond memories of a vacation spent with the family when you all lived on Nostrand Avenue and the many trips that Uncle David made back home for carnival... oh how he loved carnival. Rest in peace, Uncle David.

I grew up in Fyzabad, Trinidad 🇹🇹 in the same village as David, commonly called Posie. He was an ardent footballer and played for the Apex team. I can still see him riding pass our house on his way to the football ground, towel around his neck flying in the breeze and his football boots dangling from the handle bar. He was a jolly fellow loved by all

I meet David through a mutual friend Edmund and from the beginning David was always down to earth. His sense of humor was one of his greatest assets. When I moved to the US from Trini David and Sylvia was always there for me and my wife helping in whatever way they could. 
  We drifted apart as life tends to and I regret that however the fond memories will outweigh and regrets.
