Cora Lee Cox

(80) passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023 surrounded by family at her home. Cora Lee is survived by family that were the joy of her life. This includes her children Kelley Morris and Son-in-Law Kenny Morris of Mesquite, Traci Cox of Balch Springs, and Chris Cox and Daughter-in-law Ella Cox of Frisco. Grandchildren Brendan and wife McKenzie Turner, Christopher Gideon, Elisa Morris, David, Camilla and Amelia Cox. Great Grandchild Miaa Macias. Her sisters Cecile Pena and Mary Vermillion and Brother-in-Law Joe Vermillion and brother Henry Massey and Sister-in-Law Judy Massey. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and so many others who are not only neighbors and friends, they are family.

Cora Lee has been reunited with her husband Lonnie Cox, parents Wylie and Blanche Massey, and her sister Florence Brewer who preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Laurel Land Chapel, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Laurel Land.
