Connie Hutzell

Constance “Connie” H. Hutzell was a loving mother, grandmother “Coco,” and friend. She passed away on November 8, 2022, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 86 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her daughters.

She was born to Elizabeth Heilman in Sharon, PA on February 28, 1936. After graduating from Hickory High School, she went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in English from Thiel College. Later, she discovered her passion for interior design & made it her career. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Holly, Heidi & Heather, her son-in-law Doug, her 5 grandchildren & her golden retriever, Laddie. Connie enjoyed entertaining and creating memorable holiday meals for her family. She also enjoyed playing bridge and having “wine time” with friends. She passionately served her political party as Precinct Judge for many years, a post she relished. Connie adored her 9 golden retrievers over the years. She loved her grandchildren & attended every event she could as their biggest fan. Connie will always be remembered as a beautiful, strong woman who loved her family, her friends & her dogs passionately.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on December 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm ather home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in her name.
