Mr. Charles Earl Greer

Charles Earl Greer, son of George and Emily Greer was born on June 19, 1940 in Center, Texas. Charles is preceded in death by both parents; four brothers (Leon Greer, George Greer, Carroll Greer, and JB Greer), and three sisters (Fannie Jackson, Linda Stewart and Josephine Grayson).

Charles married the love of his life, Carolyn Yuvonne Isaac, on June 3, 1961. They had 4 beautiful children, Charles Ray Greer, Jacqueline R. Greer-Jones, Michael L. Greer and Jennifer L. Greer.

Before starting his own auto mechanic repair facility in the 1990’s, Charles’ work experience was full of diversity, including working for major roadway construction companies in the greater Dallas and greater Houston areas, as well as being the Lead Technician at two of the most prestigious golf clubs of Dallas, “Dallas Athletic Club” from 1965 to 2001 and “Lakewood Country Club” from 2002 until his retirement in 2011.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Greer, two sons; Charles R. Greer of Dallas, Texas and Michael Greer (Karen) of DeSoto, Texas, two daughters; Jacqueline Jones and Jennifer Greer, both of Dallas, Texas. Thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Naomi Goodwyn of Center, Texas and Wyomia Allen of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
