Catherine Arlene Wright

Arlene was born on February 25, 1935 to Fred Hays Cole and Emily Catherine Filiere Cole in Dallas, TX. She was a 1953 graduate of Thomas Edison High School in San Antonio, TX. She did keypunch work at Republic Insurance Company, Blue Cross Insurance Company, and Postal Data Center. She also worked as a part-time postal clerk. Arlene enjoyed working puzzles, was an avid gardener, and loved animals of all kinds. Her many pets included horses, dogs, cats, birds, and even a monkey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Gene Wright; son, Herbert Wynn Drumm, Jr. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam Drumm of Waxahachie, TX, and granddaughter, Michelle Thomson and husband Blake of Arlington, TX; and numerous cousins, relatives, and her faithful dog companion, Lucy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Randlow Smith, Dr. Cynthia Osborne, Hospice Plus, Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and Bristol Hospice for their loving care.
