Carlo Bruno Troia

Carlo B. Troia, age 82, passed away on November 4th, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on May 28th, 1940 in Bagnaturo, Italy to Carmine Attilio & Anna Troia. He married Phyllis J. Catton in Southlake, TX. He was a Journeyman at Bencor Corp. In his spare time Carlo enjoyed boccie ball, attending his 5 girls sports games, especially soccer. He enjoyed hunting, traveling throughout Europe, Mexico, Italy and the United States. He was an excellent craftsman in his spare time, remodeling his home, including adding a beautiful limestone fireplace. His family and friends will remember him as a hard worker that supported his family, a grandfather, someone that was very proud, and he loved his daughters deeply. There was truly nothing he could not tackle!

Carlo is preceded in death by: his father, Carmine Attilio, mother, Anna Troia, Rafaele Del Signore, Matteo Santilli, Susan Troia, Delio Polce and Dawn Troia.

Carlo is survived by his wife Phyllis Catton of Dallas, TX, Pasquale Troia of Pennsylvania, Guiseppina Santilli of Australia, Bice Signore of New York, his twin sister, Vittoria Polce of Allen, TX, Mario and Nancy Troia of Pennsylvania, Guilio Troia of Allen, TX, his 5 daughters: Carla Troia Linscomb of TX, Tina Troia of TX, Maria Beck of TX, Cristina Jimenez of TX, and Angela VanBiber of TX, and 9 grandchildren.

A visitation for Carlo will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd., Dallas, TX 75220.
