Betty Patricia Newman

Betty Patricia Newman of Dallas, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011.She was born in Randallett, Oklahoma on March 2, 1925 to Harry and Mary Fulfs and had two siblings, Harry and Maureen. She married Dan Newman on October 23, 1946 and they had one child, Jerry Newman. She was a Secretary to the Chairman of the Board at First Wichita National Bank until his retirement and continued working there until she retired. Betty was an avid home maker and was active in her church in Dallas and Wichita Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Dan and Jerry. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Garla Newman of Dallas and her grandson, Joseph Newman of Weatherford as well as a myriad of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30am, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church in Dallas. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church in Wichita Falls. Viewing will be on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 5:30-7 pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home.
