Betty Pearl Davis, 82, passed away September 27, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in October 5, 1934 in Paris, Texas to Clyde and Desda Grimes. Betty went to Forest Avenue High School and then received her Bachelor’s Degree from SMU and her Master’s Degree from Amber University as a State of Texas certified CPA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch and enjoyed crafting and reading. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Edward N. Davis, Sr.; siblings, Clyde L. Grimes, Jr., Margaret Patricia Elliot and Volnie Gerald Grimes and parents. She is survived by son, Edward N. Davis, Jr and wife Phyllis; grandsons, Kevin and Curtis; great-grandsons, Memphis and Cyrus; siblings, John Paul Grimes and Mary Carol Raines and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch (13017 William Dodson Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75234) at 11:00am.
