Arthur Lee Winn was born in Terrell, TX to Withroe Winn and Hallie Myrick. Later, his family moved to Los Angeles where he graduated from Locke High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and always had a friendly smile. He was the owner of a Sir Speedy franchise in Los Angeles, and he was a dedicated employee at Office Depot for many years before retiring.
Arthur moved to Dallas, TX where he met the love of his life in 1999. King Arthur and Queen Gail were happily married for 23 years. They volunteered together with the prison ministry for many years and shared the gospel with incarcerated men. He was an active member of New Horizon Bible Believers Worship Center, devoting his time and energy to the Finance Ministry prior to his illness.
Arthur enjoyed dancing and listening to music from his youth. He especially liked The Temptations, Earth Wind & Fire, James Brown, and Stevie Wonder. He was always helpful and was loved by family, friends, neighbors, and the community.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Linda Winn and Clarence Winn. He is survived by his wife, Gail, his children, Zachary Winn, Wyatt Winn (Jenyn), Elizabeth Stephens, and Sam Stephens (Tameka), and his sister Rosemary Wise, along with his nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Arthur will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Singing Hills Funeral Home, 6221 UNIVERSITY HILLS BLVD, DALLAS, TX 75241. A funeral will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6221 UNIVERSITY HILLS BLVD, DALLAS, TX 75241. A committal will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 6221 UNIVERSITY HILLS BLVD, DALLAS, TX 75241.
