Annie Mae Dolphus was born on July 10, 1932 in Deberry, Texas. She was the youngest of six children born to Eli and Nettie Hall. She later moved to California and married Abraham (Abe) Dolphus. She was a mother to many of her nieces, nephews and others. Her adopted family, The Smith’s were also a big part of her life. Annie returned to Texas where she worked as a Manager for many years for Meno, who owned a furnishing store. In this role, she helped them manage everything from their housekeeping staff to their banking business. On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, Ms. Annie transitioned to a new and permanent position – her post to serving “All Mighty God.” Annie was preceded in death by her parents – Eli and Nettie Hall; her brothers Dobbie Hall (Buddy); Eli Hall Jr. (Junior); John Andrew Hall (Shocky); William Hall (Chill); and shortly after Annie passed, her sister Vallie D. Vaughn transitioned as well. Left to cherish precious memories are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
