Annette Gillespie Rose, born to Ethel Lee and Walter H. Gillespie on December 13, 1923 in Grandview, Texas and passed away on December 8, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. Married her beloved husband, Melvyn A. Rose on August 19, 1944, who preceded her in death in 1977. She lived all her life in Dallas, Texas. Annette loved life, people, people’s customs, her church, art, the theatre, music, foreign travel, business and her family most of all. She also loved her God. In her business life she worked many years for Hexter-Fair Title Co., retiring from Safeco Title Co. in 1989. Annette is survived by her sister, Ruth Williams and her husband Billy and her many nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Dudder” Visitation will be held 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services 12:00 p.m. Monday at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel, Rev. Bill Smith, officiating. Interment to follow Hillcrest Memorial Park.
