Anna Frances O’Morrow, age 89 of Dallas, passed away at her home on December 20, 2015, with her family at her side. She was born on August 26, 1926 in Desdemona, Texas, the daughter of Bill Norris and Elsie Wilhite.
Anna worked as a secretary for Good Year for many years, retiring in 1989 after 25 years of service. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping with her husband and after retirement traveling the world, including China and the Great Wall. Most recently, she developed a passion for her family history and devoted many years to tracing back her family’s genealogy and family tree.
Anna is survived by her children David O’Morrow and Carolyn Wilson; grandchildren Aaron and Patrick Wilson; and her sister Ida Davis and her husband George. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd, and brother Sira Norris.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5-8PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 29 at 10 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
