Allen Holleman, 81, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born December 28, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jim and Lucile Holleman. Allen was a graduate of Mesquite High School and worked as a CPCU, Casualty Underwriter until he retired after 30+ years from Amerisure Insurance. He attended Casa View Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed wood working, camping and traveling in his RV, gospel music and square dancing. Allen also took pride in being the chairman for 18 year of a Masonic Children's Home Christmas event that provided "Christmas" for all the children at the home and school in Ft. Worth; this was he and Sandy's Christmas tradition every year. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lucile Holleman. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 59 years and 8 1/2 months, Sandy Holleman and one cousin, Tomi Jo.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2:30pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
