He was born on March 4, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Rigoberto Vasquez Rubio and Delia Rubio. Alberto was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Bishop Dunne High School in 1976. He married Maria Berra in 1979 and the couple had two children. He was a Paint and Body Technician at US Truck Parts where he worked for more than 10 years.
In his spare time, Alberto enjoyed being at home with his family, spending time with his grandbabies, playing his guitar, and restoring toy trucks and trinkets with his passion and talent of painting and his attention to detail. His family and friends will always remember him as a family man, a hard worker, an animal lover, and someone with a big heart. He also won first place and got several trophies at truck shows.
He is preceded in death by his father Rigoberto, loving grandparents known to the family as "Papa Pete" and "Mama Estefana," and many loving aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maria; his only son, Vincent; his daughter Stefanie and son-in-law Everet; two grandchildren Alicia and Marcos; his mother Delia; his sisters Stephanie and Maryann; his brother-in-law Robert; and his niece Rebecca.
