Alan, 69, of Dallas, TX, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and by all that knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Alice Katz; daughter, Michele Katz Rummel and husband Glenn Rummel II; son, Blair Douglas Katz; mother, Shirley Katz; brother, Irvin S. Katz; sister-in-law, Beth Katz; grandchildren, Madeline Rummel and Emmie Rummel and niece, Julie Katz Schoder. A graveside service will be held on August 25, 2013 at 9:30 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
