Tommy was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved to read and was devoted to the Lord and read through his Bible three times. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1954-1959. He worked for Wallace Computer Services and retired in 1997. Tommy was elected to serve as an Alderman for the Town of Dallas from 1985-2001. Most of all Tommy loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed going to the beach for family vacations. His family will always remember Tommy as a man of strong character who never said a negative word about anybody. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
