Mary Joan Harper Usery (70) of Dallas, NC passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Born on October 11, 1950 to Leslie Barton Harper and Dolores Ann Giesen Harper, she was an avid quilter and loved to go camping at Myrtle Beach. Formerly of Englewood, CO, Mary was a devout Christian who loved all of nature, from going to the mountains to visits to the beach. She loved to study the Word of God.
Mary is survived by husband Michael Lewis Usery, son Colin McElveny, stepson Christopher Usery (Dawn) and grandson Jason Usery. She also leaves behind sister Jean L. Anderson and sister-in-law Pamela Harper. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald J. Harper.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 4pm at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church located at 1026 Dallas Stanley Highway in Dallas.
