A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late James Fred Peach Sr. and Thelma Carrigan Peach.
Jim was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church and of the Horseless Carriage Replica Builders.
He is survived by his wife, Daphene Pasour Peach of Dallas; son, Thad Peach and wife Kimberly of Stanley, Phillip Peach of Dallas; and grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Peach.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Communion Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Drysdale officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Dallas Funeral Home.
