The death of Allan J.MacDonald of Charlo occurred on May 29,2015 at the Veterans Unit at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 95. Born in Lower Newcastle, he was the son of Ernest and Annie(Rivers) MacDonald.
Allan is predeceased by his son Jimmy, brother Albert, and his grandson Lee MacDonald. He is survived by his wife Claire(Heppell), sons Wayne(Mary),Brian(Rosalie),Michael(June),Dale(Donalda),and Daughter Helen(Bob Forest), also several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Allan will be sadly missed and always remembered by his family.
Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at 11am at the St François Xavier Church, Charlo. There will be a legion service, Branch #17, at the Church and all Veterans are invited to gather for 10:30 am.
Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie on Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm.
Donation to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
