Jennifer Michelle Lorber

Jennifer Michelle Lorber was born on June 7, 1988 in Santa Monica, CA. On the early hours of May 24, 2019 she lost her life in Paradise Cove in Malibu, California. Jenny was born to a very loving family. Her father, Andy Lorber, grew up in Malibu, California. Her mother, Rose Lorber, grew up in Culver City, CA. Jenny was raised in a blend of 2 cultures. Not your average child. Jenny was a beautiful gifted soul who has always been a “doer”. Fiercely independent, one morning mom awoke surprised to see her 2/1 year old jenny eating cereal and watching cartoons, she had done it all by herself without any help from mom, dad or big sister Lisa. At age 5 she told mom that she wanted to be Missionary and she wasn't kidding..she loved traveling and exploring the world, she love helping people and animals and it was no surprise when jenny at 20 years old was already sponsoring a little girl from El Salvador. She also paid to repair the clift lip for several children while in Africa. Jenny had so many life accomplishments for such a young person, Graduating from UC Santa Barbara, and studying abroad in France, traveling with Floating Dr's, helping the needy get medical attention all while living on a boat in the deep jungles in Panama, where indigenous people still dwell, you name it, if jenny put her mind to it she achieved it with grace, She was a globe trotter, traveling to more places than some people know exist. In South Africa and Belize she taught people how to farm their own food , then went on to Morocco, as well as all over Europe, Thailand, Mexico, Hawaii, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Chile, Peru, Equador, Costa Rica and Columbia are a few place she has set her feet on this earth, I’m sure many of you heard from her during her numerous adventures. Jenny was studying at the Classic 5th Element Acupuncture School in Louisville, Colorado, an ancient style of acupuncture with the help of her mentor Flora Najafi, who is a practitioner in the same style acupuncture. She was about to begin her clinical residency early fall of 2019. We know she would have thrived and been a success in that and all other future ventures. On top of that, Jenny had a successful jewelry business with proceeds from her sales going to different social and global causes for change. She mentioned something in the description of her business:

I chose the name Pulso for my jewelry to emphasize the connection we all share.

Each time my hammer strikes the metal it sends through it a pulse that will continue

to subtly vibrate long after the piece has left my hands and found yours. The pulse

mimics the pulse beating within all of us, connecting us in a quiet harmony. We are

all pulsing, full of spirit and life on this earth.

May we all feel jenny in this way, the way she touched our lives in whatever way that might have been, may the effect she has had on us ripple out into the world. May we keep going, remembering the pulse beating within us all connecting us in quiet harmony❤

Jenny had a way of making each of us feel special, not to mention laugh! She had the funniest dry sense of humor, almost too witty for some to understand. Inside jokes were always delivered at the right moments, Her intellect and spiritualism was something of the greats, we will always remember her laugh and see her smiling with that absolutely gorgeous smile that tugged at the heart strings of all oozing so much love and beauty. Jenny was very close to her family, even though she lived in Moab with her partner Bijan for the last 7 years, and then Denver. Mom visited her several times a year and Jenny would visit LA several times a year to visit mom, dad and grand parents for special occasions and holidays. Lastly, her love for animals.. she loved to rescue special needs dogs. She would nurse them to health and then adopted them. One specially; which she named Odin. Her love for Odin was so deep almost surpassing the human kind of love. She also had a cat name Olive and other cats; which mom and sister Lisa adopted from the local shelter. To end, a list of a few of her favorite things: watching Friends, meditation, cooking, reading, painting and hiking.

Mom would text with Jenny almost every day and talk about food, her school and our pets. I missed her good morning texts 🌻🐦🌻our rants about Odin, Olive, Miko, Kitten and Mylo. I love her so much and we will miss her Eternally!!!❤❤❤
