Sandra Von Lobstein

Sandra May Maust Von Lobstein, age 82, of Culpeper, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. She was born September 13, 1942 in Maryland to Edwin Elsworth Maust and Thelma Kathrine Eicholtz. Sandra worked as a secretary for many years for different companies such as United Way of America, Unisys, Household Goods Bureau, Gassy and Snyder Real Estate and a few others.

Sandra enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting, and making stuffed figurines and animals. Sandra enjoyed cooking and baking especially for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays hosting large family gatherings. Baking cookies at Christmas was a big hit for family, friends and neighbors or anyone else that dropped by for the holiday. She also enjoyed music from 50’s rock, country and 80’s rock. Her taste in music was very diverse.

Surviving Sandra are her three children: Barry Von Lobstein and his wife Sherri, Lynn Savoie and her husband Scott, and Steve Yocum and his wife Karla; grandchildren Cody, Dylan, Jackson, and Hayden; sister-in-law Pam Morat and her husband Bill; and nieces Jennifer Riley and her husband Bryan, and Heather Cannon.

Celebration of Life for Sandra May Von Lobstein will be held October 19, at 11:00 A.M., at Bethel United Methodist Church, 6903 Blantyre Road, Warrenton, VA 20187. We invite all who attend to join the Von Lobstein Family for a meal afterwards at El Agaves Mexican Restaurant in Warrenton. Directions will be given at the Service.
