Linda Sue Hill

Linda Sue Hill, 67 of Elkwood, VA unexpectedly passed away on November 8, 2023 at UVA Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Linda was a dedicated wife, mother and nannie, first and foremost. Linda was an amazing sister, sister-in-law, aunt, mother-in-law and friend to so many. Linda treasured her 49-year marriage to her beloved husband, Bobby. Linda loved and embraced every moment she spent with her 1 grandson and 4 granddaughters. Linda had an infectious personality and always made everyone feel welcome. Linda was a woman of grace, strength, kindness and dignity. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Catherine Thacker and her brother, Melvin Thacker, II. Linda is survived by her husband, Bobby, son Barry (Julie) and grandson Brody of Culpeper, VA, son Brian (Christina) and granddaughters Brittnei, Alexis, Madison and Leighanna of Elkwood, VA, two sisters Delores “Dutzie” and Sharon, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in- law, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2 pm at the family home.
