Laura Perryman Brown

Laura Perryman Brown, 95, of Culpeper, VA passed away peacefully at her home on August 5, 2022, with her family by her side. Laura was born July 25, 1927 in Culpeper, VA to John William Perryman and Myrtle Bailey Perryman. Laura worked for Leggett’s Department Store ( later as Belk) as a seamstress and in the retail area for 32 years; had a passion for the health care of people; loved to sew, cut grass; was a member of the Burton-Hammond VFW Post #2524 Culpeper, VA as a part of the ladies auxiliary for many years. Laura is survived by her children Rosa Smith (Harry) of Culpeper, VA, John Brown (Carol) of Culpeper, VA, Laura Page of Placida, FL, Edna Renaud of Rotunda, FL, Steve Brown of Culpeper, VA and Neil Brown (Arlene) of Culpeper, VA; twenty-seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Willie Almond Brown, her son Charles Brown and her siblings Tom, John, Charles, George, Edd, Lucy, and Maude precede Laura in death. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Walker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow services in Fairview Cemetery.
