Danielle Marie Laing

Danielle Marie Laing passed away January 19, 2023. Born August 23, 1996 to Jeffrey Daniel Laing and Angela Fellows Laing, Danielle’s amazing story of triumph over adversity was cut too short at 26 years. Danielle was kitchen manager and team captain at Glory Days of Culpeper. With her infectious smile, she was a joy to be around and a ray of sunshine, cracking jokes and making everyone laugh was something that came naturally to her. Just a few short years ago, Danielle was faced with the challenge of learning to walk again, which she overcame with strength and determination. She touched the hearts of everyone around her with her kindness and acceptance. She meant so much to so many, and inspired us all to be better people. Danielle loved music, reading, and being outdoors, whether on the river, in the mountains, or camping. Surviving Danielle are her parents Jeff Daniel Laing and Angie Jane Laing of Culpeper, VA, brother Ethan Laing, grandparents Tyler and Janet Laing, aunts Amy Fellows, Carrie Richards (Shawn), Darnae Dickson and uncle Jeff Fellows (Bonni), cousins Autumn Williams, Savannah Fellows, Karah Mayer, Christian Richards, Maraiya Richards and Zoe Dickson and her closest of friends Mariana Mills, Maddie Combs, Lindsay Smith and Matt Baker. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Danielle was preceded in death by her grandmother Carol Fellows. There will be a Celebration of Danielle’s life held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Culpeper United Methodist Church sanctuary, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper with life-long friend and Brother in Christ Gregg Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of reception in the church fellowship hall downstairs.
