Ricky Eugene Miller

Ricky Eugene Miller, Husband, Father, cherished grandpa and friend to many, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones Sunday January 7th, 2024, at the age of 69. Ricky was born December 9th, 1955, In Cullman, Al to Earnest Columbus Miller & Ruby Lee (Sears) Miller. He was the youngest of 3 siblings, One brother, (The late) Arvin Wayne Miller and One sister, (The late) Barbara (Fillmore) Miller. He is preceded in Death By his parents, His Brother & Sister, Ricky is survived by his spouse, Liesa (Fowler) Miller, 2 sons, Micheal (Jennifer) Miller, Dennis (Kristie) Miller, Grandchildren, Montgomery Miller, Alexis (Firlik) Miller, Austin Blair, Mackenzie Miller, Jayden Brigman, Tori Miller & Anessa Miller, along with a host of great grandchildren , many other family members and friends. Ricky attended school at Holly Pond High School. Not one to shy away from a hard day of work, Ricky had multiple trades during his life, from roofing with Cochran roofing, working at Nicholson File and doing construction work, He most recently retired as a truck driver for many years, from Wayne Farms. During his free time, he enjoyed bush hogging and doing dirt work for the public.

As a younger man, he ran a pullet and built houses for Jim Walter Homes. Throughout life, Ricky enjoyed horses, and used to shoe them for the public. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, his pets and spending time with his wife, two sons, grandkids and great grandkids. He also had a great love for Music and Motorcycles and enjoyed many long riding trips visiting different places with friends and family.

The family will receive Friends Wednesday January 10th from 5-9 pm At Moss Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Thursday January 11th 2024 in the Chapel at Moss Service Funeral home with burial to follow at Etha Baptist Church Cemetery, Goldridge, Alabama.
