I will always remember Ray climbing some gigantic oak trees in Birmingham. So big they shook the ground when they hit the ground. An that was just a piece of them took them down in sections. He did it like it was nothing.! Good Man he was, an ill always remember him.


Donald, Merlin,Rabbit, Albert, and Levon thanks for taking us crazy kids back to Texas that Christmas of 1976. I 'll always remember the men that saved my bacon that winter. It just shows what the Cone family is all about.    

All of us here in Colorado are heartbroken at Ray's Passing. I enlisted in the air force in aug 1975, and arived at bergstrom afb tx dec 31. A few days later Ray, just back from Okinawa was asighned to room 222. Ray and I became instant friends. As the years past ,we grew closer. Ray and I enjoyed those years and became as brothers. He then met my sister Debbie , they were married and  Rusty arrived soon after and then Justyn. The rest is history as they say. I will never forget my friend or his wonderful family.  I thankyou Lord for putting Ray and I together the way you did .I really believe I was for a purpose.  He and his whole family will live in my heart always . Justyn, jerica, phoynyx and Chayton I want you to remember what your Dad taught you. I  Can't believe I'm even having to write this. I won,t say goodbye I'll just say I miss you and I'll be seeing you soon enough. Peace be with you now that you are in His hands.......Gerry Johnson
