Nick is survived by his sister: Nina M. Simpson (Shawn) Moyer; and his brother: Dwight E. Phillips; his nephew: Anthony J. (Yeisel) Simpson; his nephew: Travis Prescott Simpson; his great nephew: Michael A. Simpson; and his niece: Delana S. Moyer.
Nick was preceded in death by his mother Janet A. Phillips, his father Thelbert D. Phillips and his brother Adam T. Phillips.
Nick loved life and enjoyed living. He always wanted to be a semi truck driver and loved seeing big trucks. He enjoyed listening to his country music. He never met a stranger and was often to be found smiling at a pretty girl he saw. But what stole his heart was his family. He especially loved his brothers, sister, nephews and grand nephew especially when they were babies. His mom was always first in his heart.
A celebration of life visitation for Nick will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. A rosary service will follow at 7:30 pm. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 217 2nd St SE, Cullman, Alabama 35055. A burial will occur Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Cullman, AL 35055.
Moss Service Funeral Home will be directing the services.
