Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting, football; especially Alabama and Addison High School, boating on Smith Lake and riding in his truck with his buddy Oreo his beloved dog. He loved coaching his kids in baseball and football. He was the owner and operator of Mike’s Mobile Home Moving. He also owned a saw mill and loved making beautiful wood with it.
He is preceded in death by his father, Travis Leyon Mann; grandson, Dayson Leyon Herron; half-brother, Travis Leyon Mann, Jr.; and grandpa, Marvin Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Donna Mann; sons: Daniel Mann and Matthew Mann; daughter, Chelsea Mann; grandsons: Bryce Herron and Ashton Herron; granddaughter, Emilee Mann; mother, Billie Stovers; step-father, Ray Stovers; sisters: Cindy (Eddie) Hamby and Melissa Elliott and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
His family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life for Mike Mann will be on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home with Burial immediately following at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
