Funeral services for Rev. Marvin Dock Bryan, age 81 of Cullman will be Tuesday, February 24 at 2 pm at Jones Chapel First Bapt. Church, Rev. Steve Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Chapel cemetery. He will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to service. Moss-Service Funeral Home directing.
Rev. Bryan passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in Cullman June 30, 1933 to Wesley M. and Alma Gober Bryan. He was a retired minister and tool and dye operator. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of fifty four years; Sarah Brown Bryan, three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include Callie Chamblee Bryan to whom he was married for seven years, two daughters; Joan Bryan (Sherwin) Bates and Annette Bryan (Randy) Hollis, two sons; Steven M. (Sherry) Bryan and Norman R. (Brandi) Bryan, a sister; Orlene Bartlett, two brothers; Wayne (Nancy) Bryan and Houston (Shirley) Bryan, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
