Mr. Joseph "Jack" Jackson Hudson

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph “Jack” Jackson Hudson, age 84 of Cullman will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Rick Lance officiating.

Mr. Hudson passed away at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX on Saturday, November 6, 2010. He was born on May 7, 1926 in Cullman to Luther Hudson and Elizabeth Chance Hudson. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Cullman and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting; and his greatest “loves” were his God, Family and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Doris Ruth Wilhite Hudson, one sister, Clarice Miller; and four brothers, Euell Hudson, Henry Othell Hudson, Bert Hudson and Bruce Hudson.

He is survived by his Wife of 29 1/2 Years, Norma Adams Hudson; one Daughter - Cindy (Charlie) Childers; one Son – Ricci (Syble) Hudson; two Granddaughters – Annalee Hudson and Charis Childers; one Grandson – Jesse Hudson; one Brother – Kermit Hudson; three Sister-in-Laws – Jewel Hudson, Sara Jo Hudson and Gloria Hudson; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends for the visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
