John retired from Airco Industrial Gases.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Ruth Whitlock; sons: Randy (Shelia) Whitlock, Danny (Caron) Whitlock, Doug (Michelle) Whitlock; & Greg (Jeff Gold) Whitlock; brothers-in-law: Chuck Sasnette & Gerry Sasnette; Sister, Mattie Lee (Darold) Tubbs; grandchildren: Amanda (Jared) Stanton, Elizabeth Whitlock, Casey Whitlock, Sydney Whitlock, Alex (Alexa) Whitlock, Gerald Whitlock, & Jacob Whitlock; & Great Grandchild, Bennett Stanton.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The celebration of Mr. Whitlock’s life will be Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 3:30 PM at Sardis Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sardis Cemetery. Rev. Donny Yarbrough will officiate.
