James Edward Witte, age 79, of Cullman, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019. Jim was born May

24, 1939 to Robert L. and Mary Kathryn Witte in Birmingham, Alabama

He is survived by his wife, Jan Blair Witte; his son, James Andrew Witte; brother, Robert L. (Karolyn)

Witte, Jr., Centerpoint, Alabama; and sister, Amelia Witte (Buddy) Long, Pensacola Florida; a host of

nephews and nieces; and his special caregiver, Gidget Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Allan Witte.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The service,

officiated by Pastor Bob Kurtz, will be Thursday, May 16, 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant

Church, Cullman, Alabama. Interment will follow at Cullman City Cemetery.
