Glenson Paul Rhoads Jr.

Glenson Paul Rhoads Jr. of Cullman passed away December 30, 2020 at the age of 84. He was born September 20, 1936 to Glenson Paul Rhoads Sr. and Irene Carpenter Rhoads. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters: Floetta Irene Rhoads and Mary Martha Rhoads. Mr. Rhoads received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Bernard College and a Master Degree from Georgia State University. A retired Major from The United States Army, he was a decorated Viet Nam veteran, receiving two Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star among other honors. After retiring from the military, he worked with the Defense Department until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of The American Legion and VFW.

Funeral services are Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Pastor Scott Sessions officiating. Interment will follow services in Cullman Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Juanita Reed Rhoads, brother: Jerry Rhoads and a host of nieces and nephews.
