Ellen "Jeanette" Gibbs

Ellen Jeanette Gibbs, age 92, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on November 21, 2024, at the Woodland Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare center. Born in Cullman to William Pearce Cox and Ethel Speakman Cox,

she was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold E. Gibbs, son, Michael Edward Gibbs and brother, Robert A. " Bobby" Cox.

Survivors include her son, Ronald L. Gibbs(DeAnne), brothers, Harold Cox(Anna Marie) and Bill "BJ" Cox(Mary Leigh) and sisters Shirley Bonner(Jerry) and Sue Cox Taylor, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Jeanette was a secretary at Alabama Box Company for a number of years and was a member of the local chapter of the National Secretaries Association. After the company closing, she worked at the Walmart distribution center until her retirement.

Jeanette was a lifelong member of 7th Street Baptist Church and in lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to the church.

Visitation will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday November 25, 2024, with a service immediately following. The Reverend Parker Allen officiating.

Interment will be held at Cullman City Cemetery.
