I found this picture of Cathy with the very first outfit for Easter that Aunt Effie bought her. Cathy was loved by Effie since she was almost 4 years old. Cathy loved Aunt Effie dearly, they had a very special bond. 

Aunt Effie, you were a special part of our childhood and we all have fond memories. We spent many summer vacations with you and Uncle Pudder up in Shenandoah, PA. and fondly remember you taking us to "The Grove" for many fun picnics.  You were a hard worker and a fun and loving Aunt. Hope you are in heaven organizing a Bingo game or a picnic with Uncle Pudder and all your loving family  & friends who went before you.  We cherish all the memories we have of you and Thank God for the blessing of you.

Heaven has another Angel. We love you and miss you. You  brightened the lives of everyone you met with your smile  your generosity and your sense of humor. We will always cherish the memories of the good times we shared with you especially the Rook games.  Fly high with the Angels and all that have gone before you. We love you.

I will always remember you visiting my Mom your (sister Mildred) and you letting me fix your hair when I was only like 11 or 12 years old. That was special to me. I also thank you for "always" loving my daughter Cathy. I knew you loved her so much that when she had school break I would let her visit you. Since you had no children, I wanted to share my daughter with you. Thanks Effie for loving her. We will miss you! Please say hello to all of our loved ones.
