Rosemarie Mabel Ambler

Rosemarie Mabel Ambler, 94, of Crystal Lake, (formerly Arlington Heights), passed away peacefully on February 24, 2022 with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. She was born January 28, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Chris and Josephine Schultz. Beloved wife of the late William J. Ambler, whom she married on June 12, 1948 (57 years). Loving mother of the late Thomas (Vicki), the late William, the late Keith (survived by Vickey) and Bruce (Susan). Blessed with six grandchildren: Tracy (Michael) Nelson, Kelly (Chris) Twarowski, Lesley (Nick) Gomez, Christopher (Abbie) Ambler, Eryn (William) Kamaryt, and Shane (Andrea) Ambler. Also blessed with eleven great- grandchildren: Margaret, Bridget, and Matthew Nelson; Sophia, Mason, and Ben Gomez; Liam, Maeve, and Zeke Ambler; Caroline and Adalynn Kamaryt. Loving sister of the late Ralph (Esther) Schultz, dear aunt of the late Christine Raska, great-aunt of Ryan (Christa) Raska, and great-great aunt to Lauren and Greg Raska.

Rosemarie worked as an Executive Secretary for Culligan International and retired after ten years. She and Bill enjoyed 25 fantastic years of retirement in Holiday, Florida and memorable summers in the Midwest with family. She also enjoyed many years of camping, golfing, traveling and visiting with friends. Her hobbies and interests included playing cards, bingo, scratch-off lottery tickets, making crafts, and playing the accordion and organ. Diligent card sender for every occasion! Member – Big Mouth Club – enjoyed having fun with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Gathering Place, 434 W. Park St., Arlington Heights, IL 60005. A memorial mass will be held following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.
