Robert A. Prchal, 83, of Crystal Lake died Monday December 13, 2010 at home. He was born January 3, 1927 in Chicago to Frank and Anna (Svec) Prchal. On July 7, 1951 he married Betty J. Hooper in LaGrange.
He enjoyed vegetable gardening, woodworking, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the northwoods of Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty; children Linda (Charles) Faivre, Lawrence Prchal, Carol Prchal, Timothy (Charissa) Prchal. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frank Prchal.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon on Friday Dec 17th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. In lieu of flowers a memorials may be given to Faith in Action of McHenry County 7105 Virginia Road, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
