On 11/24/1978 he married the love of his life Donna Larsen.
Gary worked at Brock equipment for 27 years and was instrumental in the design and development of the jaws of life. He also did sales that led him to travel abroad. He later worked at Countryside Nursery where he was able to utilize his skills in repair and maintenance for years.
Gary’s hobbies included boating, being on the Chain of Lakes, working on cars and fixing anything with an engine. He loved model trains which included an outdoor railroad in his backyard. Most of all he loved his family.
Gary is survived by his wife Donna Evenson; son, Troy, (Laura) Evenson; Daughters, Tracy (Latham) Lewis, Teri (Josh) Grassner, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by both parents Gale and Marion Evenson, and step sons Sean Becker and Troy Becker.
A celebration of life will be held on July, 15th 2023 at Garry and Donna's home from 3PM-7PM
