She was born June 18, 1929 in Garland, Nebraska, the daughter of the late William and Clara (Brandt) Schultz. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Garland, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lewis W. Krage on April 11, 1965 and by her second husband William W. Priegnitz who died on September 29, 2019 and by four brothers Hubert, Leonard, Victor and Omar Schultz and two sisters Gertrud Ruhter and Esther Van Soelen. She is survived by one son William M. (Debra) Krage, grandsons Brady and Chris Perkins and great-grandson Reed Perkins and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Lord & Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake.
After graduation from Palatine High School Berdine went on to Selan's Beauty Culture School in Chicago and was employed by Fabbri Coiffure in Barrington for 32 years.
The visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Thursday, January 18 at Lord & Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9300 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake. The funeral service will by at 11am with the Rev. David Carlovsky officiating.
Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park on Ridgefield Rd., Crystal Lake.
