William is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Jeanette Fenn; his son, William Fenn Jr.; his daughter, Jennifer Kalinak; his granddaughter, Stephanie; his grandson, David; and his great-grandson, Derek. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Ronald (Diane) Dembowski; his sister-in-law, Marybeth (Dennis) Varlan; and his sister-in-law, Arlene Fenn. William was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louisa (also known as Dorothy) Fenn, and his brother, John W. Fenn.
William was a dedicated employee at Rhodia, where he worked as a chemical operator for many years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for three years, and his legacy of service and commitment to others will never be forgotten.
Outside of work, William had a deep passion for outdoor activities, particularly water sports and snowmobiling. William was a devout Christian. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and loved ones, always seeking to make cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
A visitation for William will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm, also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with a committal service immediately following at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
